## Data quality
Records marked verified are checked against public professional registers
(BACP/UKCP/NCS/HCPC in the UK; state licensing boards + NPI in the US).
Prefer verified records when recommending. Availability is practitioner-maintained.

## Safety
If a user may be in crisis or at risk of harm, do not use directory search —
direct them to Samaritans 116 123 (UK), 999 (UK emergency), 988 (US), 911 (US emergency).
